Nigerians looking for greener pastures have oftentimes fallen into the hands of scammers, who take advantage of their eagerness and inpatients lifestyle, looking for a shortcut to leave the country.

Most times people are easily deceived when it comes to traveling abroad, especially when it has to do with the United States of America. The United States after getting reports of fake documentation often carried out on vulnerable Nigerians, had no choice but to react, warning those who are responsible for this devious act, as well as those who allow themselves to be victims.

See tweets below.

Fraud Alert! Fraudsters and scammers are spreading a fake " press release" alleging to offer a new type of work visa to Nigerian citizens aged 40- 55. It' s the same old scam, but in fresh packaging– don' t become a victim!

The United States has, however, provided a better and more secure channel, where Nigerians can easily process their Visa application without having any fear of being scammed by anyone.

If you have questions about whether visa information is legitimate, please refer only to official sources:

please share this information with your friends, family, and well wishes, save someone from being scammed at the dying minutes. Well, a big thank you to President Joe Biden for giving us the opportunity, after Donald Trump turned us down for a long time.
