Will crypto replace fiat money?

What if crypto currency become the medium for exchange in the near future

The truth is that many people haven't been able to have the knowledge about crypto currency,i once met a professor of mathematics and tried explaining crypto currency to him and how it works and he was like " u people have come again to scam people" i now ask myself how is crypto currency a scam, is it that the media isnt doing enough to create awareness about crypto? Kudos to readcash for creating awareness of Bitcoin cash for it will make more people know about it, the future is bright and i see crypto curreniences replacing fiat money.
