The easier way to resolve conflicts

Conflicts can be very hard to resolve at times because of the anger it generates which if not controlled properly can lead to causualites. In the past i have seen many communal wars which led to loss of lives and properties because of conflict not properly settled.

Some resort to fight and wars to resolve a conflict,but i ask myself what is the gain,
