Where title races stand in Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga

Soccer has returned in Germany with the Bundesliga and in Spain with La Liga. England's Premier League and Italy's Serie A both resume this week. We're about to see some champions crowned in Europe, albeit much later than we normally do.

The only title race that has been officially decided is France's Ligue 1 after the season was called off and PSG was declared as champion.

But the trophy is still up for grabs in Germany, Spain, England and Italy ahead of the final stretch of the season. Two of those title raced could be decided this week. Here's what to know about each of those four major leagues' title race:

Premier League

  1. Liverpool

You may notice one team above, and that's because it's a solo race in England with Liverpool 25 points clear of Manchester City. It's not a matter of if, but when for the Reds as they look to win their first Premier League title. Manchester City faces Arsenal on Wednesday, and if City loses, the Reds can win the league on Sunday against Everton as they would be at worst 25 points clear with just 24 points up for grabs. If City wins its next two, Liverpool's first title shot will be on June 24 against Crystal Palace.

La Liga

1. Barcelona

2. Real Madrid

It is the usual two-horse race in Spain with Barcelona and Real. The clubs are neck and neck with 10 games remaining and 30 points up for grabs. This title race figures to go well into late July. Do keep in mind that the goal differential is not the main tie-breaker in Spain. It's actually head-to-head, with Real having the advantage with a win and a draw against the Catalan club this season. That means if they finish the season level on points, Real wins the league.

1. Juventus

2. Lazio

Not many expected Lazio to be this sharp. Firmly in the Serie A race and with a tenacity that figures to keep the club in it for a bit longer, we could have quite the race to finish out the season. Juve is still the strong favorite and won't have to worry about Coppa Italia or Champions League during the rest of the league season. Mark your calendars for July 20 when Juve faces Lazio in what would be the title clincher, potentially.

Bundesliga

1. Bayern Munich

2. Borussia Dortmund

The only thing keeping Dortmund in this race is mathematics. The title race figures to conclude on Tuesday at Werder Bremen as Bayern needs just one more victory to win it. Dortmund needs to win out and have Bayern lose out. Not likely.

My Best soccer team is Arsenal, the Gunners, I wonder what is yours.
