Turn to God

It is talking about salvation and how God uses people to do his work of spreading Christianity as a religion. In the Bible the disciples of Jesus were used as vessels of spreading the word of God and winning souls for heaven.

Not only the disciples, the apostles were also used as a medium of spreading the almighty word of God and they performed all this works without grumbling or running away from the sight of the Lord. This verse talks about a man named Jonah who God sent to a certain place to go and warn them about their idolatrous and sinful acts and tell them to deviate from those evil acts and repent before God will unleash his wrath upon them.

Jonah refused to go and departed to another place on a ship, but he happened to be caught by a storm. The inhabitants of the boat prayed for help and assistance but the storm did not stop and their ship on the verge of sinking.

Jonah told the men to toss him into the river, he was swallowed by a big fish. This story is a very popular one known by many Christians especially the part that he was swallowed by a big fish.

There he had an encounter with God and after that he decided to embark on a religious trip to Nineveh, the place where God told him to spread Christianity and he did just that.

Jonah went there and warned the people and told them God's original intention they changed their evil ways from the time Jonah spoke to them. This is the importance of Obedience, when you obey God their is nothing to be scared of because God is with you. Fear is a type of attitude put into you by the Devil so that you will not achieve your dreams and aspiration but with God the devil's plans are irrelevant.

When you obey God his love will keep you protected and alert and he will surely protect you and bless your generations.

The generational blessing is accountable to the time of Abraham when God told Abraham to do something for him and he did it. This earned him a blessing which God gave him a son, so when you are obedient to God you are worthy to be blessed.

When you give your life to Christ and surrender all to God you will be spared and be forgiven. Jonah ministered to the people and they gave their all to Jesus at a fast rate because they didn't want to be destroyed by the wrath of God. This shows the anger God has for people when He sees that the people he spent a day creating are not praising and worshiping his name at all times.

Giving God our creator our whole heart and half of the day should be our number one priority not listening worldly music and watching movies.

Spending more time with God will guarantee our safety on earth and our eternity in Heaven.
