The book of Genesis talks about a man named Joseph who was a brother to many men and a son to a God fearing man. H and his little brother were the most beloved sons of their father because they were ushered into existence at his old age. Joseph was a wise person who saw a bright future ahead of him. It was because of his good dreams that he was hated by his brothers. They hated the way his father loved him more than them. Then they devised a plan of eliminating him which caused lots of problems in the family. But this act was a breakthrough for Joseph, he met up to his destiny.

From a brother to a leader, that was a unique adventure for him. His brothers sold him away as a slave. He became trusted by one of pharaoh's employed workers, after he was exiled. This was were his destiny was actualized and his suffering turned into paradise. He interpreted dreams and prayed to God day, and night for help and he was given help. This bring us to the story of Genesis 41 which tells about the plague which shall come upon the land and how to avoid it. The leader of the land had a few dreams which he needed the meaning urgently.

He asked for the arrival of all the wise men in the whole land searching for the answer to his dreams but he was not answered. He got information from one of his workers about someone in exile who could explain the meaning of dreams. He was called hastily and his dreams were explained in full. In gratitude he was given the position of the storage of foods and other crops and he became a leader in the land. Egypt did not encounter the plague that was supposed to come upon them and they were saved. This story tells us that our visions, dreams, and trances shall come to pass only through Christ our Lord.

Anything is possible only if one believes in God his savior and creator. Joseph was dislike by his family members because he had good dreams. His family members mocked him because his dreams were not encouraging to them but all the dreams came to pass and his brothers went to beg for mercy and they were forgiven. The story also tells us to forgive and forget because if we don't forgive we will never be forgiven. Joseph was tormented by his siblings and this became a huge burden to him and this can spoil a person's future. He refused to be discouraged by his brothers by any chance and he held onto his dreams and God. This was the reason for his success and why he was better than all his brothers.

God will always guide, protect his subordinates and he will not let them down. The Lord never allowed Joseph to waste away in the prison, so he kept and preserved him till the end. This shows that God will continue to protect the righteous until the appointed time for them to see him in Heaven.
