Obedience, faith and Trust: Christian Attributes

This story is about a king named Hezekiah who obeyed God with all his heart, soul and mind. He became the king of the land in a very young age, he was about 25 years old when he became the king.

Hezekiah respected God and did all that was told to him By God just like his ancestor David. It was because of his strong relationship with God that made him excel in many battles and not only in battles but in other areas of his life.

Many nations threatened him and came to war against him not knowing that He had someone who has never lost a war with Him. Whenever God is by your side you can never loose or get lost by any means because your Father in Heaven has never lost His way.

That is why we should strive to keep God By your side so that you would have nothing to loose and you will not get lost.

Looking at what happens when we obey and trust God would be best so that it will improve our faith and hope in God.

When you obey God you will harness all the blessing provided to you by God and you will never cease to be a blessed person. Hezekiah obeyed God and trusted him with all his hearth that was what made him victorious.

With the help of God Hezekiah wiped out the whole shrines and idolatrous object from his land and made sure that the people never went back to their old and evil ways, this is what a good king would do. He is doing it for their own good because if God got angry with their evil practices he will destroy them like how he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

There are cases where God would have destroyed a particular place because of their evil acts, places like Nineveh but because of Jonah they were saved.

This leads me to the second and one of the important points which you will find interesting.

God uses us to fulfill his work and purpose for the earth and this purpose is preaching the word of Christ and winning souls for God.

The Living God used Hezekiah to chase out the various items used in worshiping other gods and turned their hearts to God, this are the kinds of mission given to us by God.

So we are expected perform all this missions diligently so that we can enter the kingdom of God. God only accepts those who obey, trust and spread the word of God into the kingdom of God so we should try and improve our faith in God. Having faith in God is another asset we are expected to carry up and down when dealing with God.

When you have faith in God you now have the power to obey and trust Him.

A faithless person is someone who doesn't believe in anything so if you do not have faith you cannot trust God.

So I will urge Christians to go church and work very hard to improve their faith in God.

To be honest I can not believe that a god who says he stands for love, goodness, agrees with wars and killing people. To me, that doesn't make sense. Why should he if he shows more interest in a lost son then the loyal one who stayed, cares more about the good Samaritan, and the lost sheep? Why not have a good chat? There's no logic in it, not in wars. It's about greed of single persons, their ego.

Kitty God wars against people who are not kind to his people. He wars against the evil ones even the some of the evil people God draws them closer to him. Please go and read the story of Paul who persecuted Christians and check whether God is really a Good of war or peace.
