A lot of people are carriers of great gifts yet they don’t know that what they carry it’s gift. Alot people are living in poverty today as a result of ignorance of what they carry and who they are. The knowledge of who you are and what you carry changes the equation. You can’t really serve a gift you don’t know you have. Until you recognizes what you carry as a gift you can’t present it. Gifts are presented. Many people give out their gifts without presentation, gifts are meant to be presented. Until you learn to present your gift, appreciation of that gift will be minimal or anyhow. When a gift is presented the reward is packaged.
Check and you will see, many people you celebrate today are people who present you their gifts. They didn’t just serve you their gifts, they presented it to you. There is a difference between presentation and serving, in serving you are the servant but in presenting you are the entertainer. In life, entertainers are well recognized than the servants. The both of them are in the business of service but the difference is in how they serve. Don’t just serve your gifts, present it.
One of the reason a lot of talented men and women are not celebrated is because they have not learned the art of presentation. It is one thing to give a gift and it’s another to present a gift. The latter always comes with much appreciation.
You can’t give/serve what you don’t know you have and people can’t buy from you if you are not selling anything or at least showcasing anything and you can’t sell anything or showcase anything if you don’t know you have something to sell or showcase. Like they will say your power lies in your awareness of power. You can’t make use of what you don’t know you have.
So we can rightfully say that your first stage of service is in your awareness of what you have been called to serve.
If you don’t know what you have been called to serve, you can’t serve, even if you serve you can’t serve to your full potential.
And that’s why I always say that; your knowledge or ignorance of what you have can either hinder you or showcase you.
Proverbs 18 :16 said, the gift of a man makes room for you. I will paraphrase it by saying, the gift a man recognizes, discovers or is aware of and uses, is what will make room for him. Just having gift won’t make a room for you. You must recognize that gift and then start using it.
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20 KJV
The length or width at which God will work with a man is dependent on his awareness of the power at work in him. If a man doesn’t know or uses his gift God can only use him but small. God does big things with men whom have discovered who they are and have started doing something with who they are.
Question, Who are you?
Check every influential person you know today is a man or a woman who is constantly serving his or her gifts. Every person you celebrate today is someone who has served you his or her gifts. Even you as human you don’t celebrate those who have not served their gifts. How much more God, the giver of the gift? It is in the serving of the gift that you make him happy and then he does exceedingly and above all that you could ever imagined or ask.
I always say this, Gods Love to you is his Gift to you, your Love to God is what you do with the gift he gave you.
If you say you love God and you don’t use the gift he gave you, your love is questionable. If someone you love gives you a gifts, it is a sign of appreciation and acceptance to start using it. If someone gives you a gift and you don’t use it, something is wrong, it either you don’t like the gift or you don’t like the person. Most times even, even when we don’t like the giver of the gift but we like the gift, we still use it gift.
But I know you love God, my guess is, you don’t know he has given you a gift. And that gift is what will make room for you.
As many of you reading this , that really wants to recognise, master and deploy your gifts. I strongly believe in you and your ability. I'm sure there is more to you than you have recognized. You are highly blessed. You are a bundle of seeds , a bundle of talent.. All you need do is to settle down and look inward.. There is more to you. Yes you reading this.. There is more to you.
Let me make this final statement.. Your wealth is in your gift. Until a man discovers his gift, he will never discover wealth. Your wealth is tied to your gift. My prayer for you is that you will put in more effort in discovering who you are and what you really carry, because that is where your bailout in life is.
