Oligospermia or oligozoospermia is the presence of sperm in abnormally small quantities (less than 20,000,000 sperm per milliliter (ml) of semen). We speak of cryptozoospermia (or extreme oligozoospermia) in the case of a spermogram showing the presence of less than one million spermatozoa per ml of semen. It differs from azoospermi which is the total absence of sperm in the ejaculate and asthenospermi which is the lack of mobility of sperm.

Oligospermia can be obstructive or secretory, congenital (deletion of the Y chromosome) or have a transient organic cause, for example due to infection or contact with a reprotoxic product or an endocrine disruptor, a drug or a radiotherapy treatment. The cause may be recent or old and even traced back to embryogenesis if the embryo has been exposed to endocrine disrupting pollutants via the umbilical cord and / or the placenta. Such disruptors can also be present in breast milk.

Examples of possible causes are Hormonal deficiency (congenital or induced by an external cause),testicular varicocele which are varicose veins encompassing the spermatic cord which help to raise the temperature of the environment in which the sperm bathe),atrophied testes as a result of a viral infection (mumps), testicular trauma or testicular torsion) abnormally localized testicle (not descended; cryptorchidism) or exposed to a high temperature (in certain professions or voluntarily as part of thermal male contraception (CMT) requiring special underwear), Prostate infection and / or seminal vesicles, decreased mobility of the cilia of the spermatic ducts, deletion of spermatogenesis induced by toxicity related to liver or kidney disease.

Drug inhibition of spermatogenesis (eg by high doses of spironolactone or ketoconazole) and / or effects of chemotherapy and / or radiotherapy, especially if it is testicular cancer,Sexually transmitted infections of the chlamydia type or sequel to this infection.

Autoimmune problems is when antibodies can leave the blood and cross the immune barrier of the testes and “attack” the sperm as if they were foreign bodies or organisms. The observation under the microscope then shows an agglutination of the spermatozoa limiting their mobility (40% of infertile couples could know this problem which would perhaps explain 10% of male infertility without detected causes.

This phenomenon often seems to be associated with functional problems such as obstruction (unilateral or bilateral) of the spermatic tracts, possibly congenital, or with epididymitis, a varicocele, or with the consequences of an operation to reconnect the spermatic tract after a vasectomy.exposure of the body and as a result of the testes to one or more reprotoxic agents (situation of alcoholism, smoking, exposure to toxicants such as certain insecticides).

There are numerous treatment for this which are eat raw cassava every morning and evening, mix coconut milk with fresh egg yolk then and drink every morning and evening.do these two tips that you take in the morning on an empty stomach and at bedtime for at least a month. Then if you notice that your semen is finally heavy and thick, you stop the treatment. You yourself can do it at home. You buy the coconut, you rap and squeeze the white juice, that's coconut milk. This is what we do here in the village without worries and our women who appreciate well.

Thanks for watching.
