Aspects of Life of an Early Adult
Things have become so different since you walked with that black toga. Reality's hitting you hard, and here you are pretending and trying to become tougher than your fights. Collecting different cards is now your favorite hobby. You have with you your insurance cards, government ID cards, and even Suki cards. You are trying new things, discovering yourself, and traveling from place to place not to have fun but to seek job offers. Putting all of your plans into action.
In life, there are three major aspects that you have to take a look at. These aspects are important as you move forward and develop yourself. At the same time, these aspects can be a major threat that can block your dreams in life.
Physical Aspect
For some, this is their glow-up phase, and on the other hand, there are the dark circles under your eyes, wrinkles, the layers on your chin, and even in your tummy. Depending on the level of self-love that you have stored, you may accept or reject these transitions in your physique. You may be so dramatic with your new found skincare to preserve the glow you have, or maybe you don't have enough time to dress up and groom up because of your hectic schedule.
Mental and Emotional Aspect
Pressure is everywhere! It is exhausting to do paper work whenever you are in your workplace, and sometimes you can even encounter some situations with your colleagues. Certain conflicts that might drain you. Speaking of drain, if you don't prepare yourself for the random contents you'll be seeing on social media, you might become empty. Some posts might really trigger you, although some could really motivate you to become the better version of yourself. The point of view of the people around you adds to your stressors. When you are just starting, you can't hide the fact that it is the most challenging point since you will be questioned, doubted, and hurtful words are their way of crashing your dreams. If you do something risky, they will tell you you are too ambitious, but if you settle for less, they will mock you and tell you that you are lazy or unmotivated. Whatever you do or say, people can always find a flaw in it. They are expecting you to be an expert, just like a toddler being mocked for not being able to do math multiplication. Note that most of the people whose habits are dragging you down are those people who haven't been in your situation. The quitters who are also trying to make you quit and regret life just like them. You have so many things to prove, not to them, though, but to yourself.
The Spiritual Aspect
This is the most important yet least acknowledged aspect. We may be directing our focus to our goals, but we have to take note that these things are nothing if we fail to discover and understand the real purpose of why we are pursuing whatever goals that we have. We have been investing our time, talent, and treasure in our envisioned success, forgetting that we are just temporary in this world. We put in little or no effort into this aspect of our lives that actually holds true success and contentment. That is why when we encounter change in our lives, we tend to give up and stumble. Thinking that life is a mess because we don't have this great foundation with us. Accepting defeat and getting back on track again is just normal and easier when you know that everything is part of His preparation for you.
Insights
Changes and struggles are just part of our lives. Just like a pencil, in order for us to become ready to write our great life story, we have to undergo certain sharpening. Just like an egg, it has to be broken first before we can bake a delicious cake or make an omelet. Heads up and have faith.
