Hilsa Polao

Ingredients:

  • Hilsa fish - 1 kg.

  • Ginger paste - 2 teaspoons.

  • Garlic paste - 2 tsp.

  • Onion paste - 3 teaspoons.

  • Onion crumbs - 2 cups 6

  • Raw pepper - 4/5.

  • Tomato sauce - half a cup.

  • Testing salt - 2 teaspoons.

  • Rice - 1 kg.

  • Bay leaves - 2 6

  • Hot spices - 2/3.

  • Cinnamon - 3

  • Cardamom - 2

  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon.

  • Sugar - to taste.

  • Salt - to taste.

  • Soybean oil - in moderation.

Preparation:

First, the hilsa fish should be cut into small pieces with a knife. After cutting, it should be washed very well with water so that there is no dirt. After washing, drain the water and put it in a bowl.

Now put hilsa fish in a bowl and mix it well with some salt and a little testing salt. And you have to marinate for a while.

Now you have to put a pan in the gas Add enough oil to the pan. When the oil is a little hot, add the marinated hilsa fish and fry it lightly in a little ache. Once fried, turn off the stove and take it down.

Then put another pan on the gas. Add enough oil to the pan When the oil is a little hot, it should be fried by stirring it with onion. After stirring and frying for a while, add ginger paste, garlic paste, onion paste, magic to taste, testing salt, lemon juice, tomato sauce, salt, sugar and mix all the ingredients well together.

After giving all the ingredients, you have to cook for a while. After stirring and cooking for a while, add the pre-fried hilsa fish. Again you have to cook for a while.

Stir for a while and add enough water. Top with raw chilli powder and cover with a lid. When the water dries up a lot, turn off the stove and take it down.

Now the rice should be washed very well with water so that there is no dirt. After washing, drain the water and put it in a bowl.

Now you have to put another pan on the oven. Put enough ghee in the pan. When the ghee is a little hot, stir in the bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom and hot spices. Stir for a while and add the pre-washed rice and fry it lightly for a while.

It should be stirred for a while and given adequate amount of water. Cover with a lid with water. Then open the lid and put the pre-cooked hilsa fish in it. You have to cook it again by keeping it down for a while. Once cooked, turn off the stove and take it down.

Then pour into a nice serving dish and serve as you wish. Fun and delicious hilsa polao.
