According to researchers at the University of Otago, New Zealand, this deadly virus can be eliminated by using weak points in the genome of the SARS-Covi-2 that cause the corona virus.
The study, published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences, states that these targets have been identified in the viral genome through its MI RNA. It has RNA nucleic acid based immune system, which works inside the cells of the body and it is necessary to regulate the activities of genes inside cells and also plays an important role in eliminating viruses.
Researchers believe that these targets can be useful in weakening the virus. This could help in the development of new treatments and vaccines against this dangerous virus. According to research in Wuhan, China, a CT scan of an asymptomatic patient without corona showed a lung infection. While even in severe cases of corona, such an infection is not seen in the lungs. Asymptomatic cases without corona are not uncommon but the trouble is that asymptomatic disease is also causing severe damage to the lungs. At the same time, the patient does not show any symptoms related to pneumonia or respiratory problems.
Not showing symptoms is risky not only because unknowingly many people get infected with it, but also because in such cases the damage to the organs cannot be treated because it is not detected. In coronavirus cases without symptoms the risk of sudden death or organ damage is quite high.
