Note these few points

Jesus KNEW he was called at least at the tender age of 12 (Luke 2:40-49). Jesus started ministry at age 30 (18 years after)

According to Bible Scholars, Samuel anointed David at age 8-15 (based on different scholarly sources). David did not become king until he was 30.

Moses perceived the call at age 40 (Acts 7:23). He confronted Pharoah at age 80. 80 because he ran ahead of GOD and had to wait 40 years! 40 YEARS! 🤯

According to the famous Jewish Historian, Flavius Josephus, GOD called Samuel at around age 11

Samuel's ministry did not kickstart until quite a number of years later

These few points are very Instructive!

Dear believer,

You perceive GOD's call on your life. Very AMAZING!

As much as this is good, there is something else you need to get right. TIMING! Timing matters with GOD. The Bible let's us to see that there is time for everything. There's a time to be born and a time to die (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)

The truth is that GOD will ALWAYS speak ahead. But you need to understand why He does so. GOD speaks ahead to PREPARE YOU for the journey ahead.

There is a time to prepare for the work, and there is a time to begin the work. As believers, we ought to be sensitive to TIMING.
