Myths about Bodybuilding in Society

Hi Friends,

I will start with myself, When i was starting My Gym, I faced so many problems from family due to the Myths being spreaded in the Society which include,

  • Bodybuilders use Steroids

  • Supplements are Steroids

  • Bodybuilders fertility gets Compromised

  • Bodybuilders when left bodybuilding gets severly fatty. Coming onto the first Myth.

Bodybuilders Use Steroids:

This is the most common myth in our Societies about bodybuilding. Every bodybuilder face these kind of Questions that are you using some kind of stuff(steroids) or you are on natural diet.

Every Bodybuilder getting transformed or who is having his muscluar growth is asked that you are using some extra medicine(steroids).

Yes It is right that Bodybuilders use steroids but that doesn't mean that all bodybuilders use it.There percentage is very low.Some extra Professional Bodybuilders use them but very consciously and with very much care under Supervision of a Professional nutrionist.

So it is not neccessary that every Bodybuilder use steroids.

Coming on second myth.

Supplements are Steroids:

This is the most irritating Myth. I want to clerify that not all suppliment are steroids like Whey proteins, Mass gainers and BCAAs.Being a medical student(Vet. Doctor) i have studied nutrition as a core subject during my studies and i know very better that,

. How these things are formed

. What are their ingredient

. Which incredient is for what purpose .What does these ingredient do to our body

. Are these ingredient is essential for our bodies.

Very reknown Food Scientist are working on these Supplements and they have very standered logics for these supplements.

Thes Supplements are Created for,

. To Save Our time ( beacuse it is very time consuming to Buy egg, Boil them, peel them off and eat while it is very easy and time saving to mix 1Scope of Whey protein in water/milk and drink it in a minute).

. To ease us in completing our daily Calories intake (because it is difficult to eat 1kg potato/rice daily to complete our Calories but it is very easy to mix a Scope of Mass Gainer in water and drink it in a minute.

Bodybuilder Fertility Gets Compromised:

The Most problematic Myth is about fertility. Being a medical Student(Vet. Doctor) i know that every exercise u do need muscle power and part of it is given to muscle by Testosterone (Male Sex Hormone). This Myth is created due to some unprofeesional people who used steroid in largw quantity without any check and balance due to which they got some unwanted results.

Bodybuilders when left bodybuilding gets Severly fatty:

This is a myth as well as truth too.

Myth is because it is not essential that every bodybuilder who left bodybuilding gets vsry fatty becasue they manage them self very accuratly, and truth is becasue when you are doing bodybuilding you get use to, to much eating to meet your calories requirement which you burn during workout, but when you left bodybuilding, the Calories you use to burn in gym gets save and you still eat in the same manner as you were doing workout so due to much extra calories you get fatty but you fix this problem by orienting your diet and also exercise.
