Goa

The capital of Goa is Panaji. Vasco da Gama's largest city. The influence of Portuguese culture can still be seen in the historic town of Margao. In the early 18th century, Portuguese sailors first landed in Goa and quickly took control of the area. The Portuguese's territorial waters lasted about 450 years. The Government of India annexed it in 1971. [2] [3]
