With the continued development of the world, children have gotten unpredictable because of the different things they experience on a daily basis. Children who are exposed to Play Stations, Xbox, etc will grow up with a different attitude as those who grew up in the farmland and learning how different crops are grown.
On the other hand, children who have been exposed to smartphone technologies and computers, will be different from those who have not. Going back to history mobile phones were only meant for people with a high class but today, even children with 8 or 7 years can be found with smartphones or mobile phones. The side effects of mobile phones especially smart phones are very many because they can be a hindrance to the child's future especially academics because of the distraction they create. This distraction such as games, useless calls from fellow friends, etc can make children not concentrate on their studies and hence can make them lead a disorganized life afterwards. They can also lead to indiscipline in children such as trying to manipulate question exams with the use of Google help. Mobile phones especially smartphones also contain videos that are not appropriate for children and these can instill bad manners in the children because of the bad acts they learn from these videos.
With that said, is it okay to reward kids with smartphones when they do well in class?
