The Bisq decentralized exchange network now allows its users to send and receive funds on Bech32 (Segwit) addresses.

Founded by Manfred Karrer in 2014, Bisq is not a centralized web platform but software and a peer-to-peer network allowing the exchange, without trusted third parties, of bitcoins for a large number of fiat currencies. During an exchange, bitcoins are held on 2 out of 3 multi-signature addresses (in the event of a dispute incorporating an arbitration process) controlled only by the users. Fiat currencies are transferred directly from one user to another through traditional bank transfers. Bisq therefore does not hold the funds or personal data of its users.

Bisq is also an open source project to which dozens of developers have contributed.
