If you're part of the uninitiated and new to Crypto, then you most probably don't know about this prediction. They rocked the Crypto world at the time and here is the story.
On January 21st 2019, an anonymous user in a Discord group dropped a prediction about the price of Bitcoin. He/She predicted that by April 2019, Bitcoin would be trading at $5,300 and funny or lucky or whatever we might call it enough that prediction came true, many people however saw it as just luck. He/She also predicted that by July of 2019 Bitcoin would be trading at $9,200, this also came true and at this point, the doubting Thomases started to believe.
The next prediction was for October 2019 and people were already very hopeful now and waiting for it to come to pass like the two previous ones. The prediction was that it would be trading at $16,000. This however failed to come to pass, and a whole lot of people lost money, but they were still willing to forgive the user because he/she had gotten two right. The next prediction was for February 2020, and the prediction was that Bitcoin would be valued at $29,000. Well we all know how that played out, and it was another failed prediction as Bitcoin dropped in price.
The last two predictions are for July and November 2020, and from the looks of the Crypto and world market it doesn't look like those predictions will be fulfilled. Even with the way the market is looking good right now, it can never hit $56k.
The lesson though, never trust anyone online. It will save you heartache and money. If you need someone you net online to tell you when to buy and sell, you really shouldn't be into Crypto at all on the first place.
