After the explosion of Decentralized Finance this year, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) or Digital Collectibles like some people prefer to call them is another revelation of the year 2020. They have been the rave in the Blockchain Art and gaming world, so many who saw them as just another passing fad are beginning to have a rethink are see their enormous potential. I for one hadn’t at first been enamored by the though, by like many others I have slowly warmed up to the thought of NFTs and now I am as much a proponent of them as any other you would find.
One industry I am excited for that is slowly but surely integrating the use of NFTs is the Blockchain Music industry. I think very soon the days of having those we call ‘struggling artists’ will be a thing of the past because there will be so many earning potentials and streams for them.
NFTs are playing their part of making this dream of increasing artists earning potential a reality, so many opportunities will keep coming along and I expect more mainstream artists to keep keying into this revolutionary tech just like deadmau5 has done.
