The biggest rule in Crypto and Blockchain is to Do Your Own Research (DYOR), and so before I talk about or invest in any Blockchain project I carry out crazy levels of research, both on the project and their team. And before I talk about them to my followers I make sure they are legit and the real deal.
And honestly guys, there are not many Blockchain projects I can vehemently vouch for the way I talk about Emanate. I was recently talking to their CEO, Sean Gardner, really great guy and I must say the Emanate project really do have a lot of big plans for artists and music creatives in general. Everyone is earning on the platform, from artists, to DJs, to producers and even record labels it's crazy.
If you're like me that has an affinity for anything centralised, then you're all for Decentralisation. You detest the powers that be, those who run the world and every industry. You are against the powers who run the Music streaming business, the likes of Spotify and Apple Music and Amazon Music, who together control 67% of an estimated $7.47 billion market. If you are like me and want to see a transparency and openness in the Music streaming industry, something that will never be attainable with these guys in control, that only Blockchain can bring then you will truly stand behind Emanate Music and their dream and vision.
The current setup of the reigning kings in the Music streaming industry is one that the streaming platform take a big chunk of the monies earned and gives out a tiny bit to the artists who deserve this money and pay. It's crazy to know that for all the clout and hype that SoundCloud possesses, they do not pay their artists a single dime, but yet they pull in a lot of revenue from advertising and sponsors and the likes. But yet the artists get nothing, and on those platforms who even pay the disparity between what the streaming platforms make and what they give to the artists gives me a headache everytime I try to think about it, the gap is just crazy.
Then comes along a platform like Emanate, hosted on the EOS Blockchain which has a most noble use case and not just that but places their artists first. They put their artists ahead of their own personal gains. Artists are paid very fast for their music streamed and Emanate takes just a minute fee leaving a large chunk of it for the artists who rightfully deserve the earnings.
All the artist needs to do to begin putting out his music and earning on the platform is to have some of their native token EMT staked. That makes you add value to the network, and it also gives you governing power, but more than that you also earn passive rewards for your staked EMT tokens. A small price to pay truly to be able to break free from the shackles and centralisation of the top dogs. And I personally think the EMT tokens are so undervalued it's just crazy. I see them doing big things very pretty soon. With all the plans the team has in place, I expect the project to do really big things pretty pretty soon. It would be in your best interests to probably get a bag, cos the moon can't handle us, we're going straight to Mars my friends. Elon Musk is taking us there in his space ships hahahahaha.
