The gameplay of football seems like an easy task. To describe the ball from foot to foot and where it ended such as goals, fouls, etc. Life experiences are not chronicles. It is difficult to describe life experiences. More difficult than a story-novel. In a story or a novel, a writer can kill a character whenever he wants. And they do. You will read a novel or watch a drama with great interest. But how long will you get the birth and death of the author! But the reality is difficult.
Human life is divided into different chapters. Some chapters are happy and some chapters can be composed with unbearable endless sorrow. Written because, we have no hand in destiny (maybe or not I'm not sure). A chapter can again be obscured by the combination of these two feelings of happiness and sorrow. A person's life experiences bring a scene of joy or sorrow to others. We are saddened by the sorrows of others and we rejoice in the joys of others.
Only human beings can share the happiness and sorrows of others. No other animal can. Many a times the scenes that happen in life float like reality before the eyes. We are thrilled to hear the experience of others. Sometimes it seems that the sooner the speaker finishes telling the story, the better; As if leaving half alive. Life stories are as thrilling as they are thrilling. I saw a movie called '1408'. You can watch it on YouTube if you want. It is not necessary to understand English to watch all these movies. Ghost movies. The movie was made in 2006 based on a short story by Stephen Kings.
The short story is: Mike Anslin (John Cusack) is a comedian, skeptical writer and fiction book critic. Who deviates from his other wife Lily after the death of his wife Katie (Jasmine Jessica Anthony). Mike evaluates the supernatural events in the book of miracles, so that he has no faith, criticizes it. After his latest book was published, he came to an event on Lexington Avenue in New York City. There comes an anonymous postcard in his name. Through which he receives the message — Do not enter room number 1408. He considers it a challenge. Mike asked the hotel authorities for permission to stay in that room. Hotel manager Gerald Olin (Samuel L. Jackson) explains to Mike that if someone stays in Room 1406 for more than an hour, only his body is returned. In the last 95 years, 58 people have died in the latest census. The incident began with the suicide of a wealthy businessman named Kevin Omalli. Who committed suicide in that room during the day. So Mike wants that room with a lot of force. Watching this movie made me wonder why the time is so long. It seems like the movie is over soon. He wanted to get out of the cinema hall before it was over. But I couldn't figure out what happened to Mike. I could have come out of the cinema hall if I wished. In the same way, even if you want to, you can't get out of the misery of real life.
Life stories are sometimes as thrilling as a horror movie and sometimes as thrilling. Sometimes pleasant and sometimes terrible. Every moment is rich in experience. Much like a drop of rain. Now think about how many drops you would get if you walked one mile. And if you walk a few years? So there is no scope for narration here. Life stories are like coagulated blood. As blood coagulates through a complex equation, experiences begin to accumulate in a place called the brain in a complex equation.

There are many reasons why we come to study abroad for higher education. Who wants to leave their country to study abroad! In fact, everyone wants. But why does everyone like me want? Birhei motherland is beautiful or in the lap? Is it enough to cherish the motherland in the depths of the heart or is it more beautiful to keep an eye on it every day? Or the motherland will be a relative of the soul in the dream. Many absurd questions. But no one will ever ask these questions. We want to go out for socio-economic reasons. Our grandfathers were forced to emigrate to escape poverty. I wrote in an earlier episode that our ancestors discovered America 20,000 years ago (they did well after leaving the country. I will not blame them). If the question is asked, why everyone in our country wants to study medicine or engineering. We all know the answer. If you read about that, you are guaranteed to make a living by earning a minimum. But how many students in the education system of Bangladesh get the opportunity to study in this regard!
The students of our country become impatient with the thought of what they will do after finishing their studies from college life. How will his own family! How to help parents, siblings, who are teaching him after not eating themselves. In the developed world, children want to read only what they enjoy reading. Because they don't have to think so much about what they will do after finishing their studies. Here children become self-reliant from the age of 18. Students work part time. When students are written in the CV, their employers also give them the opportunity of low income. In our country, no student can work part-time if he wants to (not to mention the students). Again, many do not do a lot of work for fear of self-esteem. If I had not come abroad, my views on this would not have changed. I myself was hesitant to do many things for fear of self-esteem or family status. But I don't know where we got this practice from. This strange self-esteem, what else will happen without strange thoughts! Why this self-esteem. Work is work, whatever it is. I do not expect any positive change in our country until this trend stops. Students will study and work part-time. It is normal and this thought should be nurtured. Why will it be limited to tuition only?
Why do we come abroad to study? Because we can overcome social barriers. After finishing my studies, I can get a job and work. One can read history or social sciences and by working one is able to keep the signature of qualification in one's own field.
The reality in our country is that if you study those two subjects (medical or engineering) you will definitely be able to eat something and get social status. And reading any other subject will ensure an uncertain future. Now, of course, the door of possibility has been opened for some more things. I wanted to be a writer since childhood. But the day I found out that the poet Sukanta wanted to eat the moon out of hunger (at least in poetry), I was shocked. I think to myself, father can no longer be a poet or a writer. When I was writing in Dhaka, I saw how many writers were addicted to cannabis. Again, the golden deer called BCS is not in everyone's destiny. He has to pass BCS again within the age limit of 30 years. I would like to share this with my dear readers. Isn't it discriminatory to pass BCS at the age of 30? This rule is clearly discriminatory with the elderly. If it was in this country, it would have been challenged in the High Court in so many days.
Anyway, I remained adamant in my decision to go abroad. So after passing Intermediate, you can no longer apply to Oxford or Cambridge. I sent applications to four other universities in England (UCAS could try to get admission to a maximum of four universities and still do). The IELTS score was good as proof of English language proficiency. But unfortunately every university rejected me. A university again kindly requested that you contact UK NARIC (who compares the educational qualifications of different countries and gives a certificate determining which is equivalent to the UK).
I contacted them knowing about this UK Nerick. They advised me to send my SSC exam and HSC exam certificate and marksheet. Seeing these, they wrote that graduation in Bangladesh is the equivalent educational qualification of this level in England. So the urge to study abroad began to sink deeper and deeper. But I'm not going to give up. I tried to get admission in the universities of Scandinavian countries. I tried to get admission in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. Almost all the institutions sent me an offer letter for admission. Although admissions were conditional. These conditions were that I had to learn their language for two years. We can't write properly in our mother tongue, Bengali, English is our second language, but we can't communicate in that language properly. I will learn how to learn a new language. Earth is a strange planet. Here the appearance of human children is of different colors. Human children speak different languages. The language spoken in Sylhet changes completely when you go to Chittagong. Why didn't Bidhata create everyone with one language or the same color? Worry!
