Few days ago we received a patient with Acute Abdomen, Acute abdomen in medical terms means, having Absolute constipation, Abdominal pain, Distention and pain.
Immediately we gave him pain killers, that relived his pain and then started investigating his disease.
We sent some labs including Ultrasound and X rays and for COVID .. Labs showed distended bowl loops and air under diaphragm..
It was an emergency case for us, so we started neccassry actions... After some discussion... We planned to open his Gut and relieve drain his fluid...
When we opened it, abdomen was fully contaminated so we used almost 6 litters of distilled water, his gut was perforated at many levels... So some how we managed to stich it. In the end we placed a drain to follow his outcome..
At his 2nd day of surgery he started complaining of difficulty in breathing.. This made us really alert and everyone of us became conscious about him... His blood pressure dropped along with oxygen saturation...
We gave him oxygen and some emergency drugs but really his oxygen saturation was continously dropping..
Almost after 10 minutes his awaited covid 19 report came, and he was positive For COVID 😐...
Without waiting we shifted him to COVID emergency ward where at day 3 he lost his life...
We were really sorry for him and felt like we failed...

We sent our samples for COVID, and we 4 doctors got positive for it....
Currently we are in Quarantine and feeling really okay...!
Hopefully after 7 days, we will go back in our hospitals and serve our nation with great passion...
Corona will not win..!!
Case 2
An addict came with stab wound Injury...
An other patient, who came with stab would injury during a fight... It was a médico legal case so, we informed our security too..
He was bleeding so at 1st we stopped his bleeding by compression method... And then took his vitals that include Blood pressure, pulse, temperature and respiratory Rate...
His blood pressure was dropped, so we planned for iv infusions... We passed 2 wide bore IV cannula, a catheter and Nasoogastric tube too...
Gave him 3 litter of fluid /per day and prepared him for surgery....
When we opened his gut, it had deep perforation so we cut that part and sutured nicely...
His surgery was successfully done and was sent to ward for followup...
At the 1st post operative day..
He did some activities like...
Push Ups at the bed and was really restless...
We asked their parents... What's issue with him...
They said he is cocaine addict...
We got him and realized all that he was doing were the cocaine withdrawal effects..
After discussing we allowed him to use small cocaine time by time... And this was really neccassry otherwise his wound would not have been healed...
At almost 5th day... We discharged him and asked to visit us every week...
This brought smiles to our faces... Indeed we become happy when we treat someone and they get relief..
