Christmas on a Sunday morning.
Waking up this morning, my brain couldn't help but recall all yesterday's events. It was just like it trying to remind me of something I forgot. Despite being in school yesterday was kinda litπ₯π₯. Nah I didn't go anywhere worth mentioning, I just had a good time seeing for myself how things went on at home on video call. I felt like I was there with them.
I couldn't write yesterday as I had a very early night. All my friends are already home so I had no one to talk to or gossip with. I just read a little on my laptop then crashed. The next thing I heard was someone shaking me up, my friend Favor. Although she is my friend she isn't in the same hostel as me so we don't communicate often. Favor came into my room, shook me up and then stood me up on my feet and dragged me to to her room. Favor presented me with this. Oh my Favor!! Crazy friends with good hearts are definitely the best!!ππ
She even chastised me for going somewhere else yesterday which was Christmas. She said she looked and looked for me and even tried calling my number but I was nowhere to be found. Actually there was a long power outage in the school yesterday because they were trying to correct a fault in the transformer so my phone was, shut down mimost of the morning. I only had my laptop on that I used to read in the morning.
For my non-Nigerian friends the above food is pounder yam with egusi soup, A soup made from the grounded seeds of Citrus Lannatus, Pumpkin seeds can also be a great substitute for egusi soup.
Afterwards, we had a wonderful morning and are still having one right now. We are playing chess at the moment and having been beaten twice, I decided to take a break to make a post about my morning events.
I didn't wish you all a merry Christmas yesterday but I guess it's never too late to do so. Christmas is more than just a day, it extends up to a week I guess. So to all my readcash champs, Layla wishes you all a
And a happy and prosperous new year in advance. Thanks for reading guys.
I will also like to read about you all interesting adventures on Christmas day, where you went out to, what you ate, who you hanged out with and those special moments you all shared. I am very sure everyone has a story to tell about his/her Christmas. π
