Personal Thoughts about investments

They say that around 1% of the Romanian population invest in for the future and this number is mostly seen in the East part of Europe, the old communist countries but why is that?

So I started asking myself. What are people's triggers for investing? What holds others back? What can I do to improve this?

Let's see them one by one.

What are people's triggers for investing?

In short, opportunity, safety for when they will be old, financial security and financial freedom are the main triggers that I came across. They all sound positive and good so why don't more people invest? That leads us to my second question.

What holds others back?

There are a lot of answers here but I noticed some main skeptical triggers in people. Being financial instruments that mostly you can not hold but only see some numbers on the screen, gets people scared, especially that those numbers come from over the sea and I hear people afraid to invest being an external market, external companies, and so on.

Another reason I've seen is that they don't understand how the financial system works and how it can help you in the future if you work and build a beautiful portfolio.

Indeed there are disclaimers everywhere that you are risking your funds and that nothing is guaranteed and that is true but also as your job, you can get fired, your house, there can be an earthquake, or another catastrophe. Life is not safe from its definition, it's a wild cycle where the strong and smart get on top.

What can I do to improve this?

But did you know that the key to success, getting out of that rat game that 90% of the population is stuck in are those financial opportunities that we have those days? It's never been easier and safer to get out to grow and succeed financially.

Being scared of losing your savings is understandable but you don't have to let that stop you in your tracks. There are investments and strategies with different risk levels. But keep in mind, the greater the risk, the greater the reward is, that's how life works.

So what can I do to improve this situation? Try and educate as many people as I can and raise that percentage to a healthier number than what the current situation is.

Conclusion

With that being said, as a closing, try to keep at least one thing in mind. The people that we always talk about, getting rich "overnight" seeing an opportunity, trusted themselves enough to invest in a high-risk opportunity.
