Alert: Tuning in to the measure of life. (EN)

Nothing brings us closer to an important event than our presence at the exact moment of its occurrence. When not, we tend to be indirect spectators, listening to who or who had the grace to be there. The latter being, in such a case, an option to go to the audiovisual media or the media. Somehow, in the art of listening and seeing what happens through devices or artificial means, we grant a certain credibility on which we base our trust, and sometimes, our eventual performance on a day-to-day basis.

The media have been our main tool over time to find out what we cannot have immediate access to. This reaction is not random.

Culturally, we have been motivated to pursue the greatest and best forms of communication. Art itself has been a form with which we can express events, and in this direction, it has been taking increasingly revealing forms. So, we mobilize towards the media with a deep need to fill all the gaps that we usually present in the face of the impossibility of the ubiquity.

Internet, newspaper, television, radio, today, each and every one of them have allowed us to build the history of our city, state, country.

Because in their growth they have had a lot to do with the appearance of the various media.

From the voice of the announcer distributing his voice in each remote place, to the news image of a newspaper in which a citizen feat or the path of development of the city, state, country can be detailed.

And to the knowledge of this citizen is added the possibility of meeting information as part of personal and historical growth.

This opportune affiliation should not be taken lightly. There is a sense of correspondence with reality that must be respected when it is resized through the media. The idea is to adjust the information in proportion to respect and ethics.

The opposite should not be allowed either: cutting off or mutilating what happened. The media do not repair reality, because it is not about it. It is about taking the measure of the world, with moral judgment, cultural objectivity, respect and a positive emotion.

In this particular, there are more than enough reasons to promote a dignified citizenry whose best agents are the media.

Let's use each and every one of them in a rational way, I mean all means of communication, including social networks.
