I've been with my boyfriend for almost 10 years now. How have we done it without going crazy?! Easy. My answer will be blunt and it's because that's just who I am. I don't feel the need to cheat, lie, or bullshit around. I don't have time for that. If you ever question if you want to be with someone, then leave. If you ever feel the need to cheat, then leave. Do not drag the other person around just because you are a shitty person. You can't fully love someone and cheat. That's not love.
How do we keep our love alive?! Never stop putting yourself first and be sure your SO's cup is also full. It's okay to have friends and spend time away from each other. Trust and communication is healthy in a relationship. When I go out, he always says have fun. Be careful. I love you. And when he goes out, I always let him know I put cash in his wallet and will always tell him to be safe.
Love is a two way street. You cannot take without giving and vice versa. Even if you haven't found someone to spend the rest of your life with, that's ok! You're probably still 22 with your whole life ahead of you lol. Finish college, get your Master's, and then look for love or else you're just gonna be sad AND broke.
