Previous centuries testimonies and books told us that men has a great versatility and domination over women. The man's flexibility in work, hunting, politics, leadership and family head is what men's asset to dominate women. However, since we're living in 21st century the issues about gender are lessen over years. Gender and Development has a vital role to keep us reminded of how women lacks of opportunity to keep them saying as to live. It is to encourage the society itself to lift up women's right and opportunities in every area of lives.
I believe Gender and Development is one of the sustenance of society to maintain the gender equality. I may be a man but seeing my mother and my siblings to be dominated and subdued by other men will not be tolerated. In fact, I was the one who washes are clothes twice a week. This is an example in our house to maintain the gender equality at home.
