Confirmed COVID-19 cases at House now 16

MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives recorded Tuesday two more cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) raising the total number of cases among its workers to 16.

House Secretary General Jose Luis Montages said that the 15th case is a congressional staff who reported for work on July 2 and briefly went to their office on July 6.

On both occasions, he interacted only with his principal and co-staff members,” Montales said.

Meanwhile, Montales said the 16th case is a member of the House’s security staff who was suffering from renal problems and last reported for work on March 12
