Youngest Mother in the history of the world.

Lina Marcela Medina de Jurado from Peru is considered the youngest mother in the world, giving birth to a baby at the age of five (5 years, 7 months, and 21 days). Based on medical assessments conducted on the boy Lina, she became pregnant for less than five years. Lina is also the youngest case of precocious puberty ever recorded in history.

Lina Medina was born in the province of Castrovirreyna in Peru, South America. His parents were Tiburelo Medina, a blacksmith, and Victoria Lose. He was one of nine siblings.

Lima's parents first consulted with local herbalists because of her ongoing stomach upset. When he was five years old, his parents took him to a hospital in Pisco, Peru. Lina's parents and doctors first thought she had a tumor and her stomach was growing. Later, when she was seven months pregnant, her true condition was again determined. Dr. Gerardo Lozada brought the boy Lina to Lima (Peru's capital) to confirm with other specialists whether he was really pregnant.

One and a half months after Lina became pregnant, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy by cesarean delivery on May 14, 1939. She was exactly 5 years, 7 months, and 21 days old - the youngest history mother. The cesarean delivery is performed because the young Lina cannot handle normal delivery. Dr. Lozada and Dr. Busalleu, with the help of Dr. Colareta who gave an anesthetic. Doctors also found out that Lina had "fully mature sexual organs from precocious puberty". Reported by Dr. Edmundo Escomel is the case of young Lina in the La Presse Medicale newspaper, with details that Lina was first diagnosed at the age of two and that the child was fully developed.

Lina's baby weight at birth was 2.7 kgs. (6.0 lbs.) And named Gerardo, following the name of Lina's attending physician, Dr. Gerardo Lozada. Lina's family considers Gerardo. Gerardo was ten years old when he married Lina Medina.

It is not yet clear who Lina's father was. According to Dr. Escomel, since Lina was too young to receive a sensible answer. Lina's father was first suspected of being her father's father. Lina's father was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting Lina, but was later released because there was not enough evidence to convict her. The biological father of the young child Lina has not been identified.

Lina's son grew up healthy and eventually passed away at the age of 40 in 1979 due to arthritis. Meanwhile, when Lina was young, she worked as a secretary at Dr.'s clinic. Lozada, where the latter helped Lina and her son study. Lina married Raul Jurado and later gave birth. The Peruvian government then promised to help Lina's family without being fulfilled. As of 2002, Lina lives in a poor community in Surquillo, Peru. He has declined to comment further on interviews including Reuters. Today, Lina is still considered the youngest mother in history.
