Today the image of two cartoon characters Tom and Jerry are so widespread on the Internet that it is fitting to hop on the train after falling in love. This is the last episode of the American cartoon show, which allegedly ended the life of two stars.
I verdict - FAKE NEWS. If you're a fan of such a cartoon, you know this is not the last episode of Tom and Jerry. Although the episode shows that the two of them were on the train, it was not shown that they had died. This episode called the "last episode of Tom & Jerry" was titled "Blue Cat Blues" which premiered on November 16, 1956. Let's clarify, this is not the last episode of the cartoon series.
It included the first run of the cartoon - the "Hannah-Barbera era" that ran from 1940 to 1958. It was produced by producers William Hanna and Joseph Barbera under the MGM Cartoon. This is the 103rd episode of Tom and Jerry. In fact, it was followed by a short series, until the end of the Hanna-Barbera era in 1958. The latest in the run was the 114th episode "Tot Watchers" which premiered in August 1958.
Due to its theme of suicide and alcoholism, it is rarely broadcast on Cartoon Network and on Boomerang.
