Diazepam and herbal medicines - a solution to anxiety

Diazepam is a Doctors / Pharmacist solution to anxiety and make no mistake, it works !! However, the risks of Diazepam addiction are very high!

You can always try some natural ways to deal with your anxiety:

Meditation / Spirituality Start eating a healthy diet:

  • Try to include Omega-3s,

  • fish oils are not only good for the heart but can also protect against anxiety and depression

  • Exercise

  • Thinking / Living in the moment.

  • Slowly your caffeine intake, caffeine only increases your anxiety.

  • Talking to trusted friends and family

  • Acupuncture

  • Doing breathing exercises

There are always other natural herbal medicines you can take to help with your anxiety that are definitely not addictive.

Chamomile

A cup of chamomile tea, can calm your nerves, is scientifically proven, some compounds in chamomile bind to the same brain receptors as Diazepam.

L-theanine (or green tea)

Lavender

It’s generally safe, when taken in small doses, as taking to much, may have the opposite effect and make you more anxious be aware that some studies have found that taking too much can actually make you more anxious. Lemon balm is sold as a tea, capsule, and tincture. It's often combined with other calming herbs such as chamomile and valerian.
