Your life is just a computer simulation

A lot of things in life require testing in order for us to validate the expected outcome once a certain someone would be positioned in the given scenario. Jobs that require risky outtakes like, going to a war simulation to formulate a great victorious result, riding a plane simulation, or driving a truck simulation to check for the acquisition of knowledge before doing the real deal. Perhaps we can definitely talk about thousands and thousands of different simulations available nowadays. From the simplest ones like cooking or baking simulation to the weirdest ones like fish simulation (I know, I'm just as surprised as you are).

But what if all this time, your life, as you grow, as you feel the joy of playing as a kid, the pain of having wounds and fractures, the burst of laughter and joy with your friends, the bliss that you felt when you experienced your first kiss, the torment of being heartbroken and everything else, is just another simulation?

You wake up once and found out everything that you believed in is just the result of a simulation. You then said "What!?!? This is it? What's all the pain I felt before this just makes sense, was all for nothing?" And then you realized that all your experience, or your feeling towards someone, or even to yourself were a result of computer programming. You felt deceived as if someone used you as an experiment for his thesis paper.

But hold on for a while.

Keep everything inside you and think about how things happen in real life. You found a girl in your school that you're falling over and over again for. Both of you dream about being together, yet both of you find yourself still unattached. The day for the first date is close and yet you can't stop thinking about it. Are your feelings real? You try to reassure yourself that things will be okay, but somehow, when the date goes by, everything goes back to normal and nothing really changed. You even realize that every time that you face this girl in the school, both of you are always walking a distance away from each other for fear of messing up each other's life.

Is this a simulation?

Are we just imagining things and what we have now is the result of a computer program that will determine your course of action in order to prove that you're worthy of becoming an esper (magical person)? This is where the argument lies, if we live in this world as we cannot be certain for sure that everything that happened was really true, then how can we prove our existence here? Sure, there are some simulations that prove themselves by proclaiming that it is indeed a simulation. But there are also some simulations that try to convince us with their own evidence via physical proof because they don't have any power to truly proclaim themselves as a simulation.

Either way, how do we know if ours is the real world or just a simulation? What I believe is that we still need more proof before we accept ourselves as a reality beyond our imagination.

But on the other hand, is it impossible to live without being aware of it? All of us agree that there are things that would make us question our existence in this universe, like death, or the fact that we'll eventually have to die as all the animals do. And there are things that people use to not only prove themselves but really their existence in this world. Here are some examples: Our lives depend on water and food. The mere fact that we have them is enough to prove their existence. God or Allah (Is there a difference?) are good examples too. There are different people in the world who live their own lives by believing that there's a higher being. Even some people who are not living their lives according to what Christianity, Islam, or Judaism dictates thought that they're doing what is right.

So what do you believe?

Do you think that we're living in another world, another dimension while we can't really prove it? Or do you think that ours is the "real" world, where everything really happens and there's no way to know otherwise?

Something is left unsure, we will never approach an answer anytime soon unless we break the code that controls whatever system we are in. Glitches in the system are for now, what we are holding unto, as concrete proof that there is something beyond what the world is letting us believe into. Something that is more beyond our current comprehension, beyond our control, and beyond the human logic could accept...
