Those were the days when your opponent would just concede because they can no longer handle your crazy SLARK.
Those were the days, that you would wait for a vacant PC (desktop unit) because there are still many people playing (I only play on net cafes, since I don't have my own unit before).
Those were the days when you carry everyone just to finish and win the game.
Those were the days when they are fighting over who will download DR (Delay Reducer)
Those were the days, that you spend your time trash-talking your teammates because he's so stupid that he didn't hit the ES (Echo Slam - Ultimate of EARTH SHAKER) because what he did was Echo then use dagger.
Those were the days, that your trash talks would involve talking about each others' mother.
Those were the days, that you anticipate seeing your bud being fetched by his angry dad because he didn't go straight at home after school, instead, he's playing with you guys.
Those were the days, that someone will visit your "homecourt" to compete/bet with your top players and you would just "saybet" (sidebet)
Those were the days, when you play "trio", then the game mode was -SDZM (Single Draft Zoom Mode), you would see your heroes immediately, then somebody would quit and says "There's no hotkey" wink:wink
Those were the days, when you would steal money from your parents' coinpurse just to get ten pesos (10PHP) since you only have 5 pesos with you and you needed 15PHP to rent for an hour on net cafes
Those were the days when all your problems go away and you only feel the pleasure that embraces you and your friends inside these computer shops (net cafes)
Those were the days when potential fistfights among friends are pretty much a normal scenario because of taunts and got fed up with each other
Those were the days, when everyone inside the shop is so focused and quiet then all of a sudden someone would let out a nice big fart and that called out a declaration of war and would cause havoc all over the place
Those were the days, that you run away from your dad just to play with your friends.
Those were the days when you would play with your closest friends, your closest teammates...
but not anymore...
because they were "too old to play"...
and have jobs or different commitments to attend to...
where we can't do what we did before...
spending precious time together and don't care about anything but having fun...
Those were the days, that I would never forget. Those happy moments that I had, that no present game in this today could ever match and it's just sad that this game is slowly being set aside and on the breach of oblivion.
This is the world that mold my childhood and my major source of happiness and camaraderie back then.
