The war of ten Kings in Rigveda

There are many references to wars in the Rigveda. The most well-known is the War of Ten Kings. Sudasa was the king of the Bharat clan. He had fought the war with the kings of ten other clans. Sudasa had defeated the alliance of the ten kings. This led to an increase in the power of the Bharat clan. Sudasa had destroyed a river dam. Maybe this was done in order to retain control over the river water. There are certain similarities between this war and the later Kurukshetra war of the Mahabharat.
