The amazing causes of rise of City-states in Greece

There were certain reasons behind the ride of City-states in Greece.

a. As it was difficult to cross the mountain by which Greece was divided into many regions, many small City- states great up in ancient Greece instead of single states.

b. Besides, there were many harbors in the see coast.

c. In those days ago many business centers sprang up in Greece because of the manufacture of various iron goods by Greek articians. The Greek carried on trade and commerce on those sea ports.

d. The spread of trade in Greece was another important reason behind the ride of City-states.
