Sister Nivedita's original name was Margaret Elizabeth Noble.She was born on October 28, 1867,at Dunganon,Co, Tyrone,in far off Ireland.It was said that Margaret's grandfather, John Noble, was one of the fighters for Margaret's greatest love was for her father. She accompanied him sometimes on his visit to the homes of poor and sad people.She inherited from him his religious zeal and passionate love of service to people. She completed her education at the age of seventeen.Then, in 1884, she went to England and became a teacher in a school at Keswick. As a child, Christian religious doctrines had been instilled into her. She loved Jesus with hey whole heart. How willingly he had undergone so much sacrifice! After a few days after a thing happens that changed her whole life. A Hindu Yogi arrived in London. He was a Sanyasi, a Hindu Monk and his name was Swami Vivekananda.
