India, China and Afghanistan elected as a member of UNO commission as on status of women

India is elected as a member of United Nations on the status of women one day ago. The ECOSOC held the first meeting of its 2021 session. The principal global bodycheld elections for two seats in the Asia-Pacific States category. India too participated in it. CSW is a functional part of UN. The meeting focused on gender equality and women empowerment. It seems to promote the women status all over the world. It is very good news that India had been to elected in it.
