Cleanliness is next to godliness. It is a great virtue. It makes a man healthy and happy. It keeps away diseases. Man must maintain cleanliness-cleanliness of body and mind. Sorry and gems are at root of all diseases. The germs of diseases breed in dirt. A man must do his teeth daily, wash up the hands, feet and face well to wipe up dirt. He should bathe his body daily and thoroughly in clean water. He must wear clear clothes. Coming back from outside one must wash one's hands, face and feet. Cleanliness is needed for keeping company with civilised society. Nobody likes to sit beside a dirty man. Cleanliness of body and mind is must for a learned man.
