Wizkid Live Shows In Nigeria, December 2021

So lately I've been really busy but I'll try my best to make this work and keep the juicy stories coming in.

Award winning Nigerian artiste, Wizkid once again is at the centre of this story. If you don't know who he is, you can check an article I posted earlier about him. He was captured in a bizzare moment with his fans as he arrived Warri, Delta state for a show. Amidst the security personnel around the talented singer, a stubborn fan managed to pull Wizkid's shirt and 'disappear' with his eye glasses.

This latest incident comes after another recent situation that occurred on December 17, 2021, where two excited fans dragged the singer's leg on stage during a concert in the city, Abuja.The over excited fans plunged into the stage during Wizkid’s live performance held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja and held tightly to his legs while security struggled to get them off.

Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid is not new to bizarre moments with die-hard fans and is no stranger to the crazy love he receives from fans whenever he is spotted in public or at an event, owing to his large fanbase and cult-like followers.

While the buzz generated by a recent viral video capturing the moment the two excited fans grabbed Wizkid's leg on stage at a concert in Abuja, a similar situation has occurred in Warri, Delta.

Wizkid was mobbed by overexcited fans despite the combined private and military security present. However one stubborn fan had a different mission. The stubborn fan pulled the singer's shirt while the chaos ensued and was no where to be found with Wizkid's eye glasses before anyone could figure out what was going on. The singer surprisingly smiled after noticing his eye glasses had changed hands.

Several internet users have reacted to the trending video on social media, with some sharing their thoughts on the incident.

The video has sparked different reactions from fans. While some people have condemned the behaviour of the fans towards the singer, others are impressed with the way Wizkid kept his calm. Check out some comments below:

During the show in warri, one crazy fan shouted Wizkid I love you, take my girlfriend. He was offering Wizkid his babe. You can see how it happened using the link to the video below.

When wizkid was leaving the arena, some overwhelmed fans rushed him and one fan managed to move his glasses. You can see a video of it below.

Wizkid posted on twitter saying how he felt towards the Warri stunt. E choke am (Nigeria slang meaning he was tired about the situation).

Personally I'm a fan of Wizkid. I've been his fan since I was a kid when he sang his first album containing, don't dull, Holla at your boy and the rest in 2010. My favourite then was don't dull.

After the show in Warri, this artiste spoke about ordering ₦1000,000 ( one million naira) worth suya to ease the stress. With the next venue for his ongoing tour set for Lagos State, one can only imagine how crazy it will be. Hopefully it does not spiral completely out of control.
