She's More Beautiful Than Me, Thank you God Some people in our neighborhood told me when I was pregnant with Sophia that my baby would look like me and have the same skin color as me because my mother conceived me with a burnt fish, and I was the same with Sophia. When I delivered Sophia, however, the doctor looked at me and my baby and asked me a question. *Why does your daughter whitish and she's so lovely?* Because of the general anesthetic that they inject me with, I can't grin at the doctor.
When I first saw my daughter, I couldn't believe how lovely she was; if she didn't look anything like her father, I wouldn't recognize her as my daughter.
While we were in the hospital, even my companions inquired about what I had conceived because Sophia has a white complexion. I simply replied that my husband's race was white, which explained why the one I conceived did not respond.
When we returned home from the hospital, many of our relatives came to see us and, of course, to meet my new daughter, and they all praised how beautiful she is, although some joked, "It's a good thing she didn't inherit from you." I chuckle at myself because it's real, and I'm grateful for it nevertheless. haha Sophia was growing, and many in our neighborhood admired her beauty. The truth is, she is not like me; it's just that my husband's blood is good and strong, and our daughter is descended from him. There was no one to watch my kid one day, so I had no alternative but to take her to school, where all of my classmates were delighted to hand up my daughter and joked that "you seem like a babysitter to your child." In fact, when I'm compared to my daughter, I'm happier because she doesn't look like me, haha. My daughter, on the other hand, is more unhappy by chance.
There was also a time when I was invited to a birthday party and brought Sophia with me, and while I was holding her, the mother of the birthday person asked ***"whose child is with you?"*** I was embarrassed because I wasn't mistaken for Sophia's mother, so I smiled and said ***"I'm the only one watching,"*** and the birthday person came up to me at the same time and said ***"Mama, she's sophia her daughter,"*** I know her mother was embarrassed but she just laughed.
We mothers don't pay much attention to ourselves when we have children because our full attention is on our child. Some may argue that it's a lotion to call it quits, but I believe it's up to us as long as what is important is given more. My focus is on my daughter. There was also a chance that we were in church and it was the first time when we went to church, being a child, we already expect to become restless as sophia was running while calling me because there was ice cream passing by and she wanted to buy it, so I came to buy some ice cream, the sorbeter man said **"are you her nanny?"** I just smiled at the same time answering "I'm her mother, she just didn't really inherit from me, my husband's blood is stronger" as if the sorbeter man was embarrassed and apologized. Even when it was time for me to give birth, my classmates were still betting on what color my child would be haha, those who bet that my child would be dark of course lost, and others were still wondering .. well, that's not surprising because my husband's skin color and race are just white. Realization: As I questioned the Lord back then "Lord, why did you make me like this, I hope something good happens in my life" while I was thinking about that, now I just realized that the Lord has fulfilled my request, to give me something beautiful, and the having sophia was the best thing that ever happened to me. *Last thoughts:* Sometimes I just laugh when someone notices the two of us and , because those who haven't met us already I know what they're going to say haha, but anyways that's okay with me, there's a saying that *"when you're lacking in beauty, make up for it only when you have children because surely the beauty you are hiding will be seen in your child*

After reading your article, I can clearly recall my childhood back then when my mom used to give all her attention, care and love just to us and she merely give herself some rest or care. No one or nothing can beat a mother's love for her children. We all her beautiful but in a different way, some of us are totally blind though they have eyes because they can't see the hidden beauty just like pearl.
Motherly love is the best, yung makakaya mong mas ikaw ang masaktan kaysa sa anak mo 💕
