Frightened
In dark waters, hitting us again and again
With walls of water on our sides, in vision is the inevitable
It hit us again!! The hull is torn, the sails are down
The dock is a pool, the sea, our doom
Some prisoners were picked, thrown into the sea's mouth
As a sacrifice to lighten the ship for a safe passage
Huddled in a tools hole, white with fear
A chill ran down my spine.. What was that? A faint reminder.
"The beast that lurks beneath those waters are lethal"
The feeling I felt was a frightening feeling feeding fear to my feeble soul
It hit us again, her mouth cracked like the devil's smile
Giving way to a loud ear-splitting crash
Sailors and crew battling to save their downing life
Crews clawing at straws. Prisoners swallowed up in the raging water
Bent on seeing the last of us, I was grabbed and flung.
Screaming as I was plummeted into the water
Grasping at a piece of wood as my anchor
The water stopped my breath and I sank
That's when I saw her; the monster that hit us
She turned swiftly and headed my way
I closed my eyes and embraced my maker...
I opened my eyes, drenched in the pool of my own perspiration
Bed soaked and chillings of fear all over me
The room is dark and the dream is swimming in it.
In mortified horror, my hands banged the light switch
Serenity graced the occasion of seeing the colorful beauty of my room
Death was served not long ago, I tasted it but it was a dream
In the dark waters, I had a frightening romance with death.
