We are nothing but Puns on their Chessboard.

Everyone was heard screaming for joy when the news was broken. We all felt like puppies released from their leash to jump around but, a voice was heard telling us all to look closely that this might be one of their games. Yes, we have remained chess puns in their hands with a multitude of us swimming aimlessly in the ocean of lies which they tell us with their sweet coated tongue. It was just like yesterday when we woke to an announcement made by the government of Nigeria that Twitter has been banned. This was not because Twitter did owe the country or because twitter was using her platform to promote pornography or rape as the case may be. It was sole an act or should I say their normal way of playing us and treating us as puns in their game of politics. What did we do to warrant the ban in the first place? This is one big question a lot of us have tried to answer especially those outside the shores of Nigeria. The only crime Twitter committed was allowing the platform to be used as a tool to propagate justice during the EndSars protest.

Many of you saw the video clips which showed how innocent citizens of the country were brutalized for either dressing good, holding an iPhone, driving a good car or worst still carrying dreadlocks on their hair. It is laughable because this is a country where her youths are saddled with the challenges of surviving on their own with no single help coming from the country. Now, when they finally find a path that leads them to financial freedom, the police and all the law enforcement agencies are let loose to go after them, tagging them internet fraudsters while politicians continue to loot and embezzle funds that could have been used to build industries to provide gainful employment opportunities to the youth in general. Now, they have lifted the ban and everybody is happy well, for me, I cannot remember missing a day without Twitter or retweeting thanks to VPN modern technology which they could not handle. I don’t blame the poor masses who are rejoicing but the only time I will blame is when they refuse to act when necessary.

Yes, a voice could be heard shouting in anguish and wailing for what seems to be a move to checkmate. Few people have listened to this voice and they are already aware of what the government is up to. I guess they do not know that we understand all they are planning at this point. This is just January of 2022 and boom, they have lifted the ban on Twitter. The very first question to ask is; did Twitter beg them to lift the ban or is there a hidden agenda as a means to play us all as puns on the chessboard? The truth remains that most people will never understand the reason behind the sudden move by the government, that is why I have taken it upon myself to shine a little light on what might be a conspiracy in making. As you all know that the general election takes place in the year 2023 but the road that leads to this election begins with campaigns that must start this year. Now, do you think that the government will conduct an election without making effort to get the youths are obvious the largest in number? That will spell doom for them and their evil agenda to continue using the seat of authority to work against the general growth of the country.

Does it make any sense to you and do you now understand why they must lift the ban? You may decide to think and say otherwise but don’t be surprised if after the election you hear that Twitter has been banned. We live in a country where no man is held accountable for his actions even after seating as a president. If Nigeria was to be the USAUK or any of the developed countries, I don’t think any of the past presidents will be free to walk the streets of the country due to issues of corruption surrounding their tenures. We cannot leave this battle for the Westerners anymore, it is our time to make a stand come 2023 because we must reclaim control of our country before these clueless and visionless power-drunk men and women lead us into the abyss. Yes, you may say I am using abusive words on them but I tell you that they deserve even more. We have allowed them to use us as puns for so long we cannot continue to let it happen. Let us look at other countries and how they were able to clean their country off wicked men and women in the political corridor. Don’t say you have not heard it or that it does not concern you. A stitch in time saves nine…

I quite agree with you, politicians are so selfish that they don't see the plight of the innocent citizens they claim to serve. Anybody that thinks the government of Nigeria means well for Nigeria for opening Twitter must have a short memory, the government of that country have committed so much crime to see their president in ICC. They have been in the business of killing their own citizens since 2015, no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech and association, they're supposed to ha e their election in 2023 and they unbanned Twitter now just to deceive the gullible, what a pity

Surly the gullible will fall for this and will sell off their vote for a pot of beans... May God help us.
