The Two Shades.

From the streets straight to our homes we see traces of dominance happening all around us. The biggest challenge is that even the newly born is indirectly thought how to dominate in life. It is no one's fault since science made us understand that the race for survival starts right from the point of ejaculation. A man releases millions of sperm cells in the process of ejaculation but out of millions, only one or less than five sperm cell makes it. This does not in any way guarantee the survival of the sperm cell that has succeeded in fertilising the egg of the woman. It will also keep fighting to stay otherwise it will be flushed out through miscarriage. This is certainly why we develop that strong sense of dominance anywhere we find ourselves.

If you must know, anyone who does not develop this domineering spirit or attitude will certainly find it hard to survive in life. It does not matter who your parents are or how rich they are, it does not matter how handsome or beautiful you are, it does not even matter how built your body physique is, what matters is that you must be ready to outplay others at all times in other to succeed. This is where the major challenge lies in life. A lot of us misunderstand this and it has led us into developing the domineering mindset in a negative form. This post will look at the various forms of dominance.

Dirty Domineering Mindset.

Most of us are in this category either knowingly or unknowingly. Just take a look at yourself in the mirror, who do you see?

Have you done that already, now, who did you see? This is one question we fail to answer at times like this because we think or believe that we are good, therefore the question is not meant for us. Have you had an opportunity to move from not having money to the stage where you find yourself having money to spend around at any time? You might be surprised to see yourself becoming a lord over your friends. These are people you were living life with but the moment money comes, you become a boss to them even without you knowing it. If you are reading this and you observed that some of your friends especially those who are not rich left you the moment you made some millions, that is a clear sign that you may have become bossy unknowingly and instead of them sticking around and taking the shit, they decided to give you space.

Most times you will be blinded by the idea that they are not happy for you but that's the contrary. This does not mean that some friends may decide to stay away from you the moment you make some cool money out of jealousy. Anything is possible in life therefore we must try to look deeper into every situation.

This does not only occur in cases of money alone. There are times when you find yourself in an elevated position either in the office or in your community, how do you treat your friends, especially those who were there with you before the elevation? Most times you find out that your relationship with them begins to suffer because you have allowed your bossy nature to manifest. One truth about life is that every single one of us has a domineering spirit inside of us, it is only a matter of an increase in money flow, elevated positions or other things that can open up the dominance doorway. Let us look at the second kind of dominance.

Positive Dominance

This is the kind of dominance most of us experienced during our primary, secondary/high school and university/college days. It is one of the reasons why you will spend hours studying and learning because you would not want your mates to have better results than you. It was also at this stage that most of us began to receive a serious flogging from our parents or guardians any time we perform below per. For those of you from the Western world, you may not have witnessed this but it was a part of us and it contributed to our success in Academics.

We can also witness this form of dominance on this platform. You have seen a lot of people who complain about not getting the attention of Rusty in their posts, this complaint is prompted by what they see. When they see other people's posts and how the rusty tips them, it makes them work harder to achieve the same success. Those who are already enjoying success will increase their work rate because they would not want to lose their dominance on the platform. You may not understand what all the big names on this platform go through every day to maintain their dominance. This is where positive dominance comes in because it keeps everyone on their toes.

I can go on and on about the positivity in dominance but I will end the post at this point to allow the things I have said already to sink in. Mind you, you go to work and give your best at it because you want to maintain your position or get an opportunity for a promotion. Whatever we do in life, if we do not allow positive dominance to be the driving force, we may end up not succeeding.
