The past few days of my life have become more reflective than passive due to the sudden demise of my very good friend whose death has become a very great lesson to me and everyone who cares to learn.
For those who still think that they are in control or have power over death hmm… I will suggest you rethink. My friend posted her picture on Facebook a few minutes before leaving the office at the end of the day’s work, little did she know that she would not be alive to see those who liked or commented on the picture she posted on Facebook.
What does this tell us?
This means that even the next
minute could be our last on earth and this is why we must have a rethink about how we live our lives, remember that an unexamined life is not worth living says the great philosopher (Socrates).
Have you ever wondered why these two words LIFE and LOVE are of four alphabets each?
They both started with an L and ended with an E.
Doesn’t it mean anything to you?
Looking at the word Life as an acronym, many people have a lot to say as to what it stands for. To some LIFE stands for Living in faith every day while to others LIFE stands for living it forever. Others see it as living in fear every day, but to me, it stands for living in fulfilment every day.
Living a fulfilled life every day
does not necessarily mean that you will achieve all the goals you have set for yourself each passing day rather what it means is that you are always content. This is the reason why many people soil their hands because they are not contented
in life.
Being content does not mean
that you will not or should not go after the best things of life especially the things that make you happy; rather what it means is that you should always know and understand when to pause and probably prepare for another day.
Nowadays we hear and see youths going to places and doing forbidden things all in the name of chasing wealth and most times the end of it all is disastrous.
When we see life as living in fulfilment every day, we will understand that life is not all about winning every game. Show me a man who has never faced challenges in life if there is any.
This is for you to understand that life is just like a two-sided coin. It can become sweet and rosy today and turn sour and unbearable the next day.
Even as you make your plans each
day, don’t forget that you must be ready to retreat when necessary even when it seems so hard. Retreating does not mean giving up or being defeated rather it allows you to re-strategise and face lives challenges in a better and appropriate manner.
Living in fulfilment every day
with love is the only way to live a life filled with contentment because where there is love, there is peace of mind. Therefore I urge you today to see life as living in fulfilment every day with love.
