The word incubator has a greater relationship with the medical world. It is used as terminology to describe a place or a device in which premature babies are kept for some time to enable them to attain the needed maturity level before they can be taken home by their parents. It is in this period that the doctor takes a closer look at them to make sure that they don't get into any complication. The chances of survival of the premature baby outside the incubator are very low, this is why they are placed in the incubator till they are ready to experience the outside world. Now looking at this, one could say that a baby born prematurely is not or should not be left to suffer on his own. This article is not about incubators and babies rather it is about looking at the incubator as a stage of life.
We have heard that ideas rule the world and I will gladly say that a man with an idea is already headed to doom because he will certainly not understand how or when to make a move that will lead him to success. Show me a man without a plan and I will show you a man who has already failed in life. In this period, he gets to carry out checks and balances on the idea he has led on the table. He will carefully examine the pros and cons of his new idea.
A good businessman does not joke with this period because he understands that the success and failure of this idea lie in his ability to utilize this incubation process very well. He does not go through this process alone because two good heads are better than one so he will have to either work with his trusted team or possibly work alone because he might lose the idea to another person if he does not guide it jealously. In this period, he will look at the financial status of this new idea i.e. what it will cost him to get the idea rolling. If by the end of this process he finds out that everything is taking care of, he can now push the idea in the public domain.
The reason behind the incubation period is that he will avoid unnecessary setbacks which he was able to detect will trying out the business idea in the incubation period. By this time he would have been able to test who the public will accept his idea. This will make him put in every possible action in actualizing his dreams. Even though risks abound in every business, he would have learnt how to manage any impending risk he might encounter on his journey to actualizing his dream. Now, I ask you; how well do you try out your business ideas and plans in the incubation period? Even if you are not in the business world, you must be able to put every idea that comes to your to test just to be sure of its workability. Even in the family, a man must be able to check and balance every idea with his wife before taking a final decision on it.
