Each time we pray we always expect to receive an answer to our prayers and if it does not come, we begin to feel as though our God does not answer our prayers. Well, the hand of God is what everyone prays for at all times in our lives. I am not going to dwell on the part of prayer in this post because the hand of God I am talking about is the hand of Maradona. All the football lovers must have heard the story of the late Diego Maradona the football legend. So many people refer to him as the football god. For those who have not heard or read about the story of the hand of God, all you have to do is to read on. Before I go into the story proper, I will want to use this medium to check up on my friends on this platform.
We all know how the market has taken a strong nose dive and has placed the crypto world into the bloody ocean. I am not ignorant of the fact that most people have been thrown into great suffering since the bear market. This is why I would want to check up on you all. That you can stay afloat in this stormy and rough sea does not mean that others are doing well in their respective homes. Mind you, the bear market will never last forever, but in the meantime try as much you can to stay afloat and alive because a dead man cannot make a profit. Stay positive and stop checking the market for now. It will get better. The Hand of God.
This happened in 1986 during the FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and England. Diego Maradona scored the opening goal with his hand instead of his head. Mind you, at that time Video Assistant Referee (VAR) was not in use. This made it so hard for the referee to see what and how the goal was scored. Watch the video below...
There was no way for the referee to see what Maradona did even as the England players protested, he could not change his decision. After all, he had already called it a goal. I believe the case of the hand of God must have been among the reasons why VAR was introduced into football.
When Maradona was asked how he scored the goal during an interview years later. He said it was a heading and a little hand of God.

A lot of people do not know that the hand of God jersey was auctioned and sold a few days ago. Yes, this is the exact jersey he used in scoring the hand of God goal. It is said that the jersey was sold at $9.28 million. Can you imagine that? The buyer remains anonymous to date. I foresee that jersey being sold as an NFT in the future. Whatever motivated the buyer to spend such a huge amount of money on a jersey used in 1986, I believe he/she must have a good reason for the buy. Although the great Diego Maradona has died, his legend and especially the hand of God goal and jersey will live on.
