Just about Everything; a Quick reminder.

Good morning my wonderful friends, how are doing today? Hope we are not sleeping on the opportunities that have presented themselves to us since the beginning of this year? The one thing you must know about opportunity and success is that it does not have to wait for you just as time waits for no one. If you decide to be on the bed sleeping while you should be doing so good jobs that will bring you success, you will end up waking up to realize that you have been left alone even by your peers. This is why I love this great proverb so much; a Stitch in time saves nine… 

A lot of people make the mistake of getting into a new year with lots of unending plans without a proper understanding of how to actualize such great plans. Some others will have good plans on how to actualize their wonderful plans for every New Year but they end up allowing the great distractions that come with every new day to deprive them of success. One of the greatest fears of life is not being able to achieve a set goal at any time. It is worst than a pandemic and it makes me so sick. This is the major reason why I hate fear with passion. I will rather try out something new and fail than allow fear to stop me from trying.

Are you among those who will allow the distractions and fears of the day to control you? This is one big mistake that most of us make once the year starts. Just as this year has begun, what have you achieved so far or are you in the world of procrastination? It may seem to you as though you have enough time to achieve whatever you have planned for the year therefore you feed yourself with that wicked illusion known as procrastination. The evil about it is that it takes hold of you gradually. It starts with just missing a particular time meant for something beneficial to you then it graduates to moving things to the next day. This continues just like nothing until when you will realize that you have spent an entire month just sleeping off your precious time. Don’t allow those silly mistakes you made in past years to catch up with you again.

One thing I have learnt is to always evaluate myself daily, in that way I will know if I was able to meet up with a set target or not. You can do the same thing because that keeps you accountable even to yourself. You already know that you owe it to yourself to be accountable and never to fail. Most people think that they need to do well in life because of being accountable to their parents, friends or even the society at large. This is where the problem starts. You must understand that you are the first and the last person you owe your successes or failures to and the moment you understand this, you will not allow any form of distraction to hold you back.

I think I have made my point very clear enough. Now, let me move over to something else that is very important not just to me but to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful relationship. Mind you, I am not a relationship expert but what I am about to say here is something I have observed in the course of my relationship journey.

Is love a substance or an Abstract?

I will not in any way try to look at this from a professional point of view rather I will look at it as it affects me and most of us out there. When you see a Lady for the first time and you feel something move within you, how can you explain what you feel? The reason I brought this question here is because of a discussion I heard with some friends who came to the house to see me for the year. Well, it was a visit I will never forget because they were my close friends whom I have longed to see. As the discussion went on, one of them said I love you to the person he was on the phone with. When he ended the call, the other person asked him; how do you know that you love someone? To be sincere, when I heard this question I began to check within me to understand this simple but very deep question. The guy who the question was thrown at looked at his questionnaire and said; this question is too deep abeg (Please). We all started laughing at his response. As we were laughing, the questionnaire was just quiet and instantly he said; is love a Substance or an Abstract?

We all became quiet at this question and he continued by saying that for one to understand why he/she loves someone, you must be able to identify the basis of your love. He said that most people think that love is abstract not knowing that love and everything about it start as a substance. He said that even though we do not understand it before love can happen, there must be something the heart will see and open for love to grow. After his explanations, I said I was going to bring it up here for me to get other opinions towards what he said.
