You must have heard this saying; what a man can do a woman can do… let’s forget the better aspect. Please, ladies, I’m not trying to be anti-feminist here but I just want to end that saying in that way. Ok, with that been said, I want you to know that it is no longer what a man can do rather it is what a woman can do an animal… no a bird can do it better. Can a better do it better? I leave you to be the judge.

CAVEAT: THIS POST DOES NOT INTEND TO COMPARE HUMANS WITH BIRDS RATHER IT SERVES AS A SNEAK PEAK INTO THE WORLD OF BIRDS.

Have you ever wondered what it will look like to see an animal do what a man can do even better? I know it may be sounding like an impossibility to you reading this post but I will urge you to read on if you want to know how possible it is.

We learnt about reproduction in our Biology classes back in our high school days and we didn’t learn just the human reproductive systems and ways by which reproduction takes place in human beings, we also learnt about the animal (including Birds)  reproductive system and how they reproduce. It was stated clearly that birds lay eggs after which incubation starts (a period of sitting on the egg to warm it up which leads to the formation of the chick before hashing).

This process is also seen in the human reproductive circle even though it is not the same process. The woman takes in after sexual intercourse with a male counterpart and this leads to the nine months journey to enable the foetus to completely form into a baby. This reproductive circle repeats itself over the years as the woman continues to conceive.

When the bird goes into the incubation period, it sits on the egg all day just leaving the egg to quickly look for food and during this period, the bird will be in a sort of on the run movement while doing anything outside its nest because its attention is completely hinged on its eggs and its safety so it will be very swift in searching for food that it may only take it a minute before it rushes back into its nest. This process is also seen in the pregnancy stage of the woman because she is left also in very strong and serious body pains and she witnesses a lot of discomfort because of the changes that will be occurring both inside and outside of her body. She becomes more agitated or should I say that little things tend to make her angry just the same way the bird rushes quickly to get food. The pregnant woman will develop taste for certain foods and things which were very ok to her before pregnancy will gradually become a turn off for her.

The difference between the incubation period of a woman and that of the bird is that the woman’s incubation period happens inside of her while the bird does its outside.

Now after delivery the woman goes into the period of breastfeeding and nurturing of the baby and during this process the woman is seen several times lapping her baby on her back as she goes out either to her workplace, market etc although this process of lapping the child on the back originated and still exists in Africa till date the woman does it with great pleasure and ease.

Would you believe that the birds do lap its chick on its back if I tell you?

I know you may doubt it not seen like the woman who laps her baby which you can see around even on the internet. Just take a closer look at these images below and tell me what you see.

Are you marvelled at the work of nature?

Can you see what God has done? Even as birds, the creator gave them the intelligence to jump on the back of their mother and stay there even as their mother moves around.

The picture you saw above was taken by me as I went to the back of the house to check the birds. I watched as the chick stayed put on the back of its mother for so long without making any move.

This is very incredible and I’m happy to share with you all. Hope you grabbed a thing or two from this post?

Do you now believe that a bird can do what a woman can do? Lol... (Just kidding). 😂😂🤣🤣🤣...
