Amelia could practically hear her heart pounding so loud out of fear for what was to befall her. As looked on in great fear and disbelief, she could not get herself to understand what and how she ended up where she was. In her pain and fear, her mind began to wander through the past in other to get hold of what was happening. It was at this moment she realised that the signs were always there but she allowed herself to be fooled by love.

This is the story of Amelia, Rob and Love.

It all started when Amelia and her family moved into a new city because of her mother's job. Before the relocation, she had a strong friendship with her girls and they built a bond that could not be broken. They went to parties and had lunch together. When the news of their relocation was given to her by her mom, she could not imagine leaving her friends and all the life she had built in the city where she was born. At first, she tried to resist but a part of her could not accept the second option of living apart from her mom. Amelie's mom has been her greatest and closest friend and this bond became so strong that she could not risk it for anything.

After weeks of deliberation, they moved to their home. As soon as they got there, Amelia fell in love with the environment. It was a dream come through for her. She had always wanted to live in an environment where nature could be felt every day. She saw the trees, rivers and even hills. Another thing that interested her was the fact that everyone around their neighbourhood lived an open life. This made it so easy for her to adapt by making new friends but she did not know that danger was lurking in the dark.

In the first month of leaving in this new environment, she had already made a lot of friends and Rob was among them. One thing led to another and they fell in love with each other. Their relationship became the envy of so many because Rob showered her with so much love each passing day, little did she know that there was more than meets the eyes.

It was not long enough before the first story of a missing girl began to make around in their community. The police were invited and after weeks and months of searching through the forests and swamps, nothing was found. As the community was about to take a sigh of relief, another girl went missing but this time around it was one of Amelia's close friends. Investigations and searches were conducted but nothing was found. This threw the entire community into fear. Before long, the third, fourth and even the fifth girls all went missing without no trace of what or who was behind it all. This made the mayor of the town impose a dusk to dawn curfew.

Amelia's mom warned her not to go out of the house without letting her know where she was going. On one of the occasions, Rob visited and asked her to accompany him to his house where he had planned a surprise for her. She tried all she could to say no since her mother was not around but Rob persuaded her and told her. He told her that they would not waste much time in his place. Amelia could not say no because she truly loved him so she agree to go with him. As they got to his house, she noticed that something strange changed about him the moment they stepped into the house. Rob convinced her to follow him down into the basement, with the excuse that the surprise was down there.

Before he took her down to the basement, he blindfolded her more anxious to see the surprise. As he led her down the stairs into the basement, she began to feel unease but the feeling of love and trust killed every doubt in her. As soon she got to the last step in the basement, she felt a sharp and painful knock on the back of her head and instantly, she passed out. The next thing she saw when she opened her eyes was Rob sitting in front of her with a club stained in blood. As she tried to move her hands and legs, she found out that she was bound and her mouth was also taped. When could not say a word or do anything but immediately, she remembered the cases of the missing girls.

Within her mind, she began to think. Was Rob involved in the missing girl's story or was this a prank? As she was trying to understand what was happening, the television beside her was turned on. It was at this moment that her fears grew even deeper. She watches how Rob used the club stick to smash the skull of each of those girls that went missing. She could not imagine that she has been eating and dining with the devil himself. Amelia began to weep, hoping that her tears will make him not free her. As she continued weeping, Rob smashed her knee cap with the club stick. This sent unimaginable pain into Amelia's brain and screamed in pain. She watched him as he broke the second knee cap and it was at this time that she passed out because her body could not hold the pain again.

She saw herself praying for death to take her even as she thought it was all a dream. She began to remember the love they shared and how he promised to protect her from any harm. As she was in her state of unconsciousness, she felt a sharp pain in her left eye and this pain brought her back to reality. As she tried to open her eyes, she found out that her left eye has been pierced by a sharp object. She could only feel blood dripping from her eyes as she watched Rob raise his hands so high for the final strike aiming at her skull. She closed her bloody eyes in wait for death to take her.
