The concept of time management

Management and time are two complementary elements, as time is one of the elements of management that helps it achieve its goals and accomplish its work in an organized and effective manner. In order to achieve the desired goals.

We used to include time management on knowing how to eat time in the present, analyzing it, and planning for a good and effective use in the future.

Time management can also be defined as the best use of personal capabilities and time to achieve the desired goals, which helps in the correct balance between the demands of work and private life, and providing the basic needs of the mind, spirit and body.

The importance of time management and organization

Time management, time is one of the most important resources in a person’s life, as no person can achieve his goals and reach success except through time management and good management. And every person must strive to use his time with everything that is useful to him, and therefore he must establish a program in which he clarifies the work that he must accomplish. As time management benefits you in several things, including:

  • It makes you a successful person, distinguished from your peers at work, and aware of the requirements of achieving goals.

  • Time is the life of the entire human being, and you must manage your time to find an answer on the Day of Resurrection about your years as you spent them, as in the noble hadith about our master Muhammad the most honorable of creation (A slave will not go away on the Day of Resurrection until he asks about four: about his age as he spent it, and about his youth in what he spent About his money, where he acquired it and what he spent it, and about his knowledge of what he did with it.   • Buy more time for yourself and your family; Like going on a vacation and breathing out.

  • Relieve yourself from stress at work or even at home; You feel comfortable and reassured of the good progress of work, thus improving your productivity at work and reducing the percentage of errors in it.

  • You have time for self and professional development for the future. People who succeed in managing time find a thousand doors to improve their material level.

The most important keys to time management

There are a group of methods that help to manage time in an effective and successful manner, and they are as follows:

  • Time analysis by using a record of weekly activities as a minimum, and this is one of the successful methods of time analysis.

  • Planning: It is divided into daily planning and long-term planning, commensurate with events and goals, and utilizing time effectively.

  • Goals and priorities: A person should strive to achieve all the goals that he plans, and try to obtain results that are more effective than the results that he may get by chance.

  • Anticipation: It is one of the most effective time management tools.

  • Effectiveness: what is meant by accomplishing the right things correctly, so that the effort is not without any effectiveness in the event of the completion of inappropriate tasks, and the achievement of unplanned results

  • Alternatives: It is intended to find alternative necessary solutions, which helps a person to choose effective and appropriate solutions.

  • Setting deadlines: through which self-discipline and commitment can be achieved, we work to get rid of procrastination, hesitation and confusion.

  • Brevity: Brevity helps increase clarity and understanding in a person.

  • Avoid long details and reduce routine: Through this, focus on the general goals of the organization, get rid of routine tasks and can be merged or delegated.

Steps to effectively manage time:

For successful time management involves a set of steps which are as follows:

  • Determining priorities, plans, and goals, because if the individual does not have clear goals and sound plans, he cannot organize his time.

  • Writing a list of the most important daily achievements, so that it is part of the daily life of the individual, and breaks should be allocated.

  • Getting rid of escape ports, so you should not procrastinate or escape from responsibilities and tasks.

  • Use of leisure time in an ideal way, such as waiting times or travel, that can be used with reading.
